OSCE TRAINING

Nurses must pass OSCE in order to work in the United Kingdom. In line with UK requirements, Sumner Group Health offers OSCE training, from our centre in London, to international nurses. Please email Sumner Group Health at training@sumnergrouphealth.com for more details on the training course.
THE NEW OSCE
The NMC has recently updated OSCE to reflect changes that are happening in UK nursing, aiming for the test to be as close as possible to the reality of the field.
The NMC has increased the total number of exam stations from 6 to 10:

Four stations will continue to be linked together around a scenario: the APIE (one station for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)

Six skill stations will be tested instead of two:
- 2 pairs of 2 skills
- 1 professional values
- 1 critical appraisal
